What's Hap-pinning Birthday Style

I am back from my glorious day off, aka my birthday.

Yesterday was pretty amazing. From start to finish.

My morning started out with an early wake up call from my girls who were quickly quieted with their pacis. I went right back to sleep and woke up at 7:15 and everyone was gone. I changed my clothes, brushed my teeth and hair and headed out to take Walter on an hour long walk.

It was the perfect temperature and a great way to start my day.

After our walk, I headed over to Walden's for a birthday coffee.

I watched a little tv while enjoying my latte and then I headed out at 10 am for a massage (thanks mom and dad). It was glorious. I have been having a bit of hip pain from running, so this was the perfect remedy.

After my massage, I went to lunch at the Wine and Cheese Board where I got the Trio....grilled cheese (with two different cheeses), potato ale cheese soup and a salad with fruit and nuts. It was soooo good and so nice to have a relaxing lunch without sharing my food with my little ones.

After lunch, I headed over to Ulta to pick up some new eye shadow. My Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is running low, so I went back to my favorite, Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Since it was my birthday, I received a free Urban Decay eye shadow in a pink champagne color. It is really pretty and I am currently wearing it.

After Ulta, I headed home to watch some Gilmore Girls, shower and relax for a bit. At 4 pm, I headed out to get a manicure. It was sort of a last minute idea and it was so worth it. I went to someone new that I found on yelp and she was pretty awesome and did a good job.

I got home just in time for Rory and the girls to get home. My sister was already there waiting to watch the girls. We fed them dinner and I opened gifts from Rory and the girls and my in-laws. So spoiled. I will let you know what I got on Friday (sorry).

We headed to dinner at Sierra Street Kitchen which is a new restaurant that features small plates. We had thai mini meatballs, ahi poke, bacon wrapped dates, a meat and cheese plate, pappardelle bolognese and blue lip mussels. Everything was soooo good. We also had a bottle of wine and the chef gave us his signature dessert, poached pear in a burgundy sauce with homemade gelato as my birthday treat. We sat by the window so we could people watch which is at an all time best with Hot August Nights going on.

After dinner, we took a walk to burn off some calories and headed home.

We chatted with my sister for awhile and then watched Bachelor in Paradise which was full of drama and so much Chad. It was a really good first episode.

It was the perfect way to usher in 33.

I also got many emails, texts and phone calls from you all and I feel extremely loved. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers to 33.

I am linking up with Jenn and Jessi today.
