I have our kitchen remodel on my mind and I am here to share my inspiration with you through Pinterest. These are just my ideas and not necessarily the pieces we will choose.

I am obsessed with subway tiles. I have loved them since watching the Property Brothers. I love the simple look of them.

I want white cabinets. Now I know that I have two littles in my house, but I have always wanted white cabinets, so I am going to get white cabinets. Just need a way to keep them semi clean. Tips.

I need some slate tile to add to the floors.

And a giant farmhouse sink.

And quartz counter tops to finish the look I am going for.
And let's not forget my dream stove/oven. I know I am going to have to downgrade from this baby.

We are in the process of securing our funds to remodel our kitchen and this is finally getting more real by the day.

  1. Love those subway tiles! I want to do that in my kitchen. The slate floor is so fun too. My parents have a slate floor in their kitchen and it looks so nice.

  5. Oh man I want this kitchen too! White cabinets are so pretty, there's nothing a magic eraser can't remove! Subway tiles are my jam as well! Can't wait to see what it will look like when it all comes together.

  6. Oh how I want some white cabinets!!!! When we built our house in 2009 the espresso cabinets were all the rage, so ours are dark and I'm sick of them. Unfortunately we will be stuck with ours for a while, though, because there's no way I'm going to try my hand at painting them! We did that in our last house and it was HORRIBLE.

  11. We have white cabinets that were original to our house when it was built in 2002 and honestly.. they still look pretty clean! I was surprised since it's been many years, it was a pleasant surprise!! And they really do brighten up a kitchen.

  15. Pintrest is great for finding new and inventive ideas to start a project. I LOVE the pictures, they are beautiful! The cabinets are stunning and they make the kitchen look really sophisticated and professional. It would be awesome to remodel my dining area like this, it's so cool and sparkly!

  16. I think you did a great job putting together your ideal kitchen. I never thought of using subway tiles or slate flooring in the kitchen, but they will help the white cabinets and farmhouse sink stand out. You can keep the white cabinets semi-clean by giving them a monthly wash with warm water and a dish detergent designed to remove grease.

  17. My wife and I recently remodeled our kitchen, and we faced the same decisions about cabinet colors. Our kids are small, and they always manage to have sticky little hands. My wife wanted white cabinets, but we decided to make the lower ones gray. They do need to be wiped down every day, but they hide the small hand prints.

    1. That is a great idea. I tossed the idea of gray around too.
